W i n t e r - B e a u t y ‘Even when flattened by winter’s harsh frost and snow, they revive with the first warming rays of the sun.’ Today is that beautiful winter sunshine, though absolutely freezing, and for that I am so grateful for it. Last week I woke with an intense energy that felt like it was literally bursting from me. For a while I was fighting the feeling then I connected to it and a wise guide helped me realise I needed to get myself grounded. So out in the garden I went, barefoot and buzzing. Which I won’t lie, did feel slight madness! I am sure I am not alone and that others have this idea of winter, that it is cold, isolating and not full of the beauty we love to see in nature in other seasons. -We love that warm glow of autumn and we love the newness of spring flowers. The baby lambs, the freshness of it all. Oh the heat of the sun, oh we love that. To be able to be in the garden at 10pm and still warm. Oh we all love and celebrate that. But winter, is an understated beauty. - It takes vision, it takes work to see it right. It is there. It needs your trust, it takes your searching. It takes connecting to the wholeness. - To only appreciate spring is to be forgetful of the hard work that comes through winter. When it is holding and nurturing those bulbs and seeds, ready for the warmer seasons. - So I bring this round to our work, our passions and our soul work. You can not always see the process of a creative, you mostly see the final outcome. For me it’s the final images. - I work in line with nature where I can, I spend the Winter months in ‘hibernation’, in reflection and rebirth. Looking at what I can bring to the new year, what I can grow and give to the people I work with. So it may look quiet over here and it make look like nothing is happening. Though I feel very much like these awesome Hellebores in that I am starting to bloom and open up for the year ahead. I am excited to share my journey into this with you. I am excited to share some of the work I did last year that has inspired the journey of 2019.
